The Best Tropical Green Smoothie Ever
This is the best tasting, most refreshing smoothie that I ever made. The tangy pineapple and mango perfectly compliments the strawberry and banana, and the earthiness of the kale actually grounds the flavor base quite harmoniously. There is no added sugar or flavoring, so although it’s quite sweet you can feel great about enjoying your smoothie. If you’re not into dairy, you could probably just omit the yogurt altogether but we found that it added a nice creaminess to the overall texture.
When we got married last summer, we registered for a Vitamix Blender. No one bought it for us (we weren’t surprised), but we pooled the Bed Bath and Beyond gift cards that we had received and were fortunately able to make it happen. Cooler Kitchen now blends in high luxury and style- I used to wonder why my smoothies didn’t come out as good at home as they did at Jamba Juice, and now I realize why. The Vitamix blender is so powerful, and really whips up fruit and vegetables into a wonderful smoothie texture. Although it was an extravagance to justify a several hundred dollar blender, we have no regrets!
